and they're always called shit like "waterdogs" too. okay buddy. hit me with a "firecats" why don't you. when are "cakedogs" or "cloudbirds" coming out im real excited. sometimes makes me wonder if there's specifically an "top 50 most common adjectives in the english language + top 3 most common household pet animals" generator out there that these people use.
the fact that these still exist is fucking BAFFLING man π₯ βoh but artists want to be compensated for the hard work on the speciesβ out of all the things you could be charging for you decided to paywall a CONCEPT never heard of game devs/writers/animators making ppl pay for making ocs in their own original worlds or species how is this any different

trutheerrr dude. i really don't mean to be unkind but most of the closed species i've seen i wouldn't say took "hard work". it's not even the very concept of a closed species or the unoriginality of most of them that bothers me per se, but the genuine attempts to claim them to be completely original. i've seen a couple instances where scarfox owners forced young artists to redesign their characters because they looked a little too similar to the gold standard of a scarfox. i used to be so scared of being forever banner from a closed species community but they all suck so much π
I've been well though!!!! and i hope you've been well likewise!! don't wanna talk about too many personal things in a public comment section, so hmu in dm if you wanna catch up more!! it's lovely to talk to you again, you've always been such a delight to be around :D
