theyre cool! i looked at the ref of the species but im wondering what the bowtie-thing on their back is? is it decorative? horn, skin, wing-like?
it depends on the ropetail! the center of the "bow" is usually the same material as their core, and the bow is functionally a tail in the same manner as a cat or dog would have one. ropetails get their name from this rope or bow-like tail
