As for if it's possible to hide the download button, not that I know of sadly. Someone tried a while ago but it was unsuccessful. (to note that the download option doesn't appear on Firefox btw) I can suggest making the player size smaller so it hide some of the options, but then it may also hide the volume switch..... Even if you could hide the download button tho, anyone that really want to get your music could get it anyway, so it wouldn't protect it that much. (accessing the html directly, recording it while it's playing, etc) I can only suggest using a low-quality or shortened version of the music if you're worry of thieve.
