Okay, so Mother 2, set in the 90's right? Well, little old me came up with the goofy goober idea of including an animatronic restaurant for scrunkly blorbo from my brain (I mean) Trudy to explore for a bit as they were kind of a staple at the time. However, it's EarthBound. It can't be normal and those games like a little toying with horror sometimes (see Moonside, Chimera Labs, Cave of the Past, Threed, literally the whole series of final bosses, etc.), so, boom, it's abandoned to have a gimmick. I named it Cheddarella's and it's basically if a Little Ceasar's was crossed with McDonalds and ShowBiz Pizza. It's drive-thru pizzeria with a sit-in area like a McDonalds with animatronics. So, yeah, obviously, it went bankrupt for the same reason the McPizza doesn't exist outside of that one Orlando location anymore, alongside the high cost of the animatronics. Their mascot is a cow because haha cheese, and of course there's an animatronic of her who's a ballet dancer, the main attraction. The only reason Cheddarella went nuts to serve as the prologue's boss though was due to basically the plot of my fic where aliens start trying to take revenge by taking over technology. It's a thing, so basically, she's/its a cow animatronic possessed by an alien. She/it doesn't look like a FNAF animatronic because I wanted to do my own thing, so she actually looks like an early Disney or ShowBiz animatronic of a tubby cow. She doesn't have a drawing to her name though. But hey, why not. She makes sense in comparison to the other enemies in the game like attacking street signs and cups of coffee. I think it's fun, so I included it. Trudy needs a reason to unlock her powers, so the cow will be your threat child.
(Yo what up, I’m back from the random work dimension) Man, the cyberverse is something I’m pretty excited for! It’s one of the main focuses of the story so I gotta be legit with it but basically, and this is going to contain quite a bit of fandom-exclusive lore, but (takes deep breath), in EarthBound lore, there is a way that someone’s subconscious can manifest into a literal alternate dimension called Magicant. Now, if you only played the SNES game, you’d think it’s only a dream in Ness’s case but the NES game does confirm that a Magicant is a physical location as people other than the person who created it are able to go in and out, buy items, etc. So, each person has one. Yes, only two have been shown in the series, but I love them, so I’m making the idea bigger and better with this. Basically, the cyberverse is a combination of the Internet after aliens started messing around inside of it and the culmination of a couple of people’s Magicants, including Trudy’s! Be warned though, the cyberverse may sound fun and exciting at first but like the internet and the subconsciousnesses funneling into it, it can rapidly devolve from a wacky wonderland to a horror landscape of liminal spaces. Since I’m still working out the plot, I can’t divulge as to much as to what happens in there, but since Trudy is psychic ever since uhhh lol chapter one (phbbghghh), she eventually gains enough of an affinity to enter it via one computer and then walk around a bit to exit it via a different computer. (Yes, she can invite her magic-free friends. It’s like a portal.) She uses this to travel the world, meanwhile, she doesn’t know a couple of other people also share the space whether it be maliciously or by accidentally entering via a dream. Should be fun times.
