i used this code as a base and completely revamped it, i could put my code in a character and send it to you if you wanna edit it yourself? (but quick warning it's gonna be a complete mess since i rampaged through it) the ribbons, background code, and hover text code were found from googling stuff lol

if it's just the hover test you need i used this for it, i just kinda yoinked it from a page doll code and fumbled with it till it worked
