I FEEL LIKE A COMPLETE RECREATION OF dA WOULD BE AMAZING. IF WE LOOK AT SPACEHEY, RECREATING OLD SOCIAL MEDIA IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE ACHIEVED AND LOVED.

ONLY IF I COULD CODE

I definitely agree. I wish I could code an entire website, too. I'm only semi-decent at editing codes and doing the amount of HTML that was required for coding dA's custom boxes. I hope someone with a lot of coding skills could re-create the old deviantART completely, perhaps with some improvements. (e.g.: dark mode/different theme colors, tag blocking, profile skins/image background/colors, etc.) If someone could figure out how to recreate MySpace in its entirety years after the old UI was phased out, someone could definitely do the same with dA considering that it's only been 3 years since Eclipse. Perhaps we could call it rogueART or peculiarART or divergentART or bizarreART—something similar to deviantART a la Spacehey. (This might be needed to avoid copyright issues with dA since I'm not sure dA would like a replica site of their old layout unlike how the developers of Sheezy were okay with a reinvention of their site under the name SheezyArt.) I'd donate to a project that would recreate the old dA, assuming they go through with it, have decent admins, and have agreeable policies. Something like this is definitely needed.
