YESSSS I'm so glad I met someone that also enjoys the same interests!! Robots and animatronics are just amazing due to how so many individual objects like motors, gears, wires, and circuits come together to work to form a "living" being! :D My Mario childhood went to the older times, my first games were SM64 and Smash Bros for the N64, which got me very familiar with the Mario series (Plus I loved playing Yoshi on Smash Bros!) It helps that all of the games are so replayable due to being so much fun :3
Ooooooh!!! A robotic Koopa or Birdo sounds like an incredible idea, and I bet you could totally make a wonderful design out of it :D If you do happen to design them, would you perhaps take a commission to draw them and Roshi interacting? I think that would be super fun ^w^
Me too!! I’ve been interested in that sorta thing for the longest time and I’m super happy I met another person who was interested too!! And I love learning about the history behind certain animatronic characters as well, for example Crusty the Cat from the Pizza Time Theater restaurants!
The N64 games are admittedly really fun from what I’ve played!! I’ve played mostly more modern titles spanning from Wii to Switch but I hope I can get my hands on some of the older ones :D

I’m especially leaning towards making a robot Birdo, possibly naming it Birdroid (Birdo + android) or Birdomaton (Birdo + automaton) sorta like how you named Roshi by mixing the words “robot” and “Yoshi” together! I could definitely see if I can do a commission of them together when I do the design!

For sure, I'm so glad you appreciate them for what they are <3 FNAF did bring back interest in them, but sometimes one gets tired of seeing "killer animatronics" popping up over and over <XD Animatronics can also be friends, innocent creatures! My bot Furball was originally a FNAF animatronic before I moved him away into his own universe, I created him purposefully to be different from the common killer possessed scary animatronic trope, so instead he's just a friendly AI built to play around, entertain, and have fun :D
Honestly, any era of video games is a fun era when you grow up in it :D And just think; games will get better and better as technology improves! I can't wait to see what Mario series games are in the future :3

Yeah, the killer animatronic trope does get annoying after a while! But I’ve seen FNaF fangames that pull it off nicely in my opinion! And honestly, I am thinking of moving one of my animatronic characters, Sleepytime Skunk, into his own universe as well!! Mainly because I don’t know how to fit him into the FNaF universe ^^,
True!! And Imm excited too!! I’m honestly really looking forward to any sort of new 3D Mario platformer, I always have had a preference for 3D platformers over 2D ones!
