I can tell you’re into Blackjack but have you dabbled into other vintage manga or animes? :0c I feel like you’d really like Pet Shop of Horrors by Matsuri Akino or works by Ioshima Yumiko (Sorry if this is inappropriate to ask but I couldn’t hold it in any longer I just think it’s cool how you incorporate this stuff into your art screams)

Oooh I need to read Speed Racer 😭 I used to be super into it when I was a kid but never finished the series at all, it’s super gorgeous honestly? Takarajima looks really really good so I’m def gonna check it out! I also really enjoyed Petshop is super fuuuun so I think you’ll love it! If you haven’t read Devilman (The original not Crybaby) I also recommend it, it suits your aesthetic a lot and Parasyte (1989) ALSO the Akira manga! Astro boy is a bit touch and go for me but the original manga was really cool if you’re into the series!
