im so sorry to hear about this; i hope your friend gets the help they need! Are there any hotlines they can call? if you have the kind of information you need, maybe you can help them track down nearby shelters/food pantries/etc (in the US, it might be a good idea to look into food stamps! in some cases they put you on a waiting list though... either way its good to get some free food!) in the area! i know its scary, but please tell your friend they are loved and in our thoughts and we're all going to help as much as we can manage!!! You can get through this!!!!!!!!!
