hiya!! cant tell if you’re still active here,, but i was wondering how you get your hq art and characters without posting art? lol i know how weird this question is but i was just wondering since i can’t post art rn and there’s a dreamie i’ve been absolutely dying to get. :’3
hey!! (i’ve been on hiatus for quite a bit now which probably explains my inactivity haha) i’ve been in the community actively for over a year and used to draw more so a few of my characters (not in the mains folder though) were from art payments and such. miriku (my mochupuddinq design/mermyxn) i actually won in a raffle and bought the majority of her art pieces with deviantart points saved over time, and received others through gifts and trades. my other main (lumi) i purchased with my saved points (1.9k obtained through selling a character!) i also was lucky enough to win a hq waterdog from a raffle. my biggest takeaway from all of this would probably be that these things take time and sometimes even luck. and although it’s helpful to be able to offer art, it’s possible without too c: even if u can’t obtain the char u have ur eye on now, that’s okay! they could go up for offers at any point, and by that time maybe you’ll find you have more to offer. (plus there will always be dreamies out there hehe) idk if that helped u at all or if it was way too in depth lmao but thanks for asking the question and good luck getting that character! c:
