Anyways, what I was saying was that I thought Spider looked really cool! I also tried to say that I meant to comment after favoriting but I was in the middle of something and then forgot… So thanks for reminding me! :) She instantly caught my eye with her stark contrast from the other characters that the site automatically loads in (kind of like recommended page I assume??) I love kind of “creepy” or “horror” or “creature” genre characters (not specifically saying that she’s any of the first two) and so I thought she was lovely! I love dinosaurs and robots/animatronics are cool, so that’s another cool point. Her design is also very detailed, colorful, and creative, you did an awesome job!! I don’t really have a particular favorite part… I love it all! The design, the colors, the story, all of it! I would love to give her a hug if I ever met her <3
Another thing that interested me is the kind of spider leg appearance of the frill skeleton around her head. Almost a decade ago at this point, I remember making this wolf with spider legs sprouting out of his neck and her design reminded me of him, so I also thought that was interesting as well! His name was Scourge (because somehow Scourge’s collar from Warrior cats inspired the spider legs for me haha, so I ended up stealing his name too back then… I may change it now because of that though lol). But yeah, I just thought that was neat as well!

But goodness gracious reading this comment just made me so SO happy <3 I absolutely love long comments like these that really go into specifics on why you like my character, it makes me feel all fuzzy inside!! >W< She definitely has a "creepy horror" vibe going on, it's fully intentional! The twist is that despite her exposed mechanisms making her look unnerving and frightening, on the inside she's still a gentle sweet robotic dino who wouldn't hurt a fly! It sadly works against her, due to being all alone and desperately craving attention and interaction, she unintentionally scares most humans away with her looks QWQ People that meet her have to learn that it's what's on the inside that counts! If you look at her description you can find a picture of when she originally had skin, and her looks matched her personality a lot better XD
Scourge is a cool name, I'm glad the spider frills remind you of him! Those rods were originally used to move around her frill skin back when she was fully skinned, but after losing it she mostly used them to show emotion because her voicebox is all busted up <XD Poor gal.
I saw the original skin! I loved your design for it, and the blues were definitely a great choice. She was so pretty, but I still think she’s pretty afterwards! And pretty cool as well. I love how well thought out her exoskeleton design is, with even the frill being fully functional! Yeah, poor girl though. I think anyone running up to you in the middle of the night would be terrifying, but especially one of her silhouette. In the future she might at least have a night guard or janitor or something who would be her buddy! What a sad story, but well written. :(
I’ve thought about names such as Fester, Malice, Rancor, or Bane, (he’s not evil, just a regular wolf in personality, I just liked evil-sounding names), but I still think Scourge fits best. Thanks for that! :)
