Comments on WISHLIST! (Stuff u can offer) All Comments

Hello! I'm thinking about doing one of these wishlists too because it's just so cool! ^^

I'm curious though if this can work somehow with an Amazon account? Like if Person A had a saved item from a wishlist on there, and Person B offered a thing from their list, can Person B buy the item and ship it to Person A?

Also, I read the previous comment on how this works normally, but what would be a safe way or platform to communicate with the shipping process, if without Amazon or Ebay? Sorry if my wording is a bit confusing ;;

I would appreciate a response whenever you get the chance and have a good day/night! <3

Hello there!

So the way I work this, is I only look at items that the people own already! For example, if someone owns an N64 and does not want it anymore, it’s kind of worthless to them? But it’s worth a lot to me, so then the trade is worth it.

If people are going to purchase items for you, then you they should just offer you the money so that you can purchase it yourself! Otherwise, if person is in another country, they cannot buy it from Amazon and have it shipped to you. Also, it makes no sense for them to buy an eBay item to have it shipped to them, and then they ship it out to you, there’s unnecessary fees there!

Thank you for responding! <3 I did see someone use an Amazon wishlist before for an adopt and it was kind of hard to understand aha

Also, I meant to say if that person themselves had it on Ebay and were offering it but both of those things sound a little silly now that I think about it (>u<;;;) again sorry for the confusion with my wording but thank you again for the explanation!! ^^

No worries!!

AND YEAH, if somoene wants to offer something from eBay,
then I always get them to send the money to me directly so that I can deal with shipments and details like that!

Wait, I'm pretty sure they CAN ship it to you. Isn't there a gifting thing? Or even changing your address

It’s a weird thing with amazon.ca versus amazon.com? I live in Canada, so people in the states can’t use the Canadian site to buy things for me? Or something weird like that

But again, all in all it’s cheaper for people to offer me the money value and have me buy it instead!

From my exp, Amazon US can ship anywhere. So if you just go on the US site and ask people to ship it to your address, it should be fine? Or you can try the amazon wishlist so people just have to click a few buttons.

Also, all the sites are accessible from anywhere. I can still go on amazon fr from the us, so im sure they can go on the canadian site if they change the url

But yeah true lolol

Ohh I didn’t know that!
I do know the Canadian site is much more limited, so perhaps the US site is capable of doing it!

Thanks a lot!
