I use the super brush from Tuhis brush set (it's free!), when I'm lining i have the smoothing turned wayyyy up to like 80-90.
As for technique I spend a lot of time going over the lineart and smoothing out any bumps or wobbly lines, and (most importantly imo) filling in the space where two lines meet so that there are no points - always round!! Feel free to DM me if you need any more help/explanation as these things are always hard to explain by text ♡
