• name: Bijou (from france meaning a light pink colored pearl or jewel).

• relations with any of your characters: Niji and Hana (they bring her pearls, stones, and corals to make jewerly and decorations).

• backstory/just a story about them will do!: She is the coral reef princess and she enjoys creating beautiful pieces for her friends (Hana and Niji) and family. Often comes out of the water to visit the human world near the shore. This is where she takes inspiration for her jewerly pieces (where she sees women wear pearls and corals as home decorations near the ocean). The queen and the king of course does not like the idea of the princess (preparing to be queen) to go near humans that might be dangerous and perverted. But her parent's warnings does not stop Bijou's curiosity to explore the human world.

• Extra notes about Bijou: she has both a human and mermaid forms that allow her to live in both worlds. She thinks: "If I have the gift to walk on land, am I not meant to explore the world outside the sea?". She is very elegant and has a warm calm temperament. She might not seem like an adventurous being, but her curiousity and passion for jewerly takes her wherever her heart wishes to be.

• Extra notes about relationships: Niji and Hana are always together gathering corals and other pearls for Bijou. They love to hear Bijou's stories about the outside world as they do not have the gift to walk on land like Bijou does. When Bijou is out of the sea, they make sure to cover for Bijou in her absence (and they are very good at it). Bijou's relationship with her parents is slightly distant, but she loves them dearly (and that is reciprocal). Her mother, the Coral Reef Queen, is determined to prepare her to be the next in the throne; even if there is quite some time until that day comes. Her father, the King, is very protective and does not want her to be harmed (he loves her so dearly). So he often warns her about the world he is skeptical about (maybe he has experiences of his own). Bijou loves her kingdom and often gives jewerly as gifts to the mer-people that meets her. They are amazed by her talent and passion; and often they bring valuable items and sometimes food as a thank you for her kindness.

• Notes about the world: Coral Reef and Coast City. The Coral Reef Kingdom is a bright colorful home for sea creatures and its in-habitants the mer-people. It is an vast city of corals and the people live happily near the castle and its boundaries. Although, the farther and deeper you go from the Coral Reef Kingdom the closer you will get to the Deep Sea Kingdom where there is sirens and mermaids with perverted intentions that want to take over the Coral Reef Kingdom and bring chaos to the human world. The Coral Reef Queen and King and its warriors have to protect their kingdom and prevent the Deep Sea Kingdom from taking over the surface and potentially the human world. Coast City is a small city near the shore close to the Coral Reef Kingdom. Houses are minimalistic and small but full of life and colors from the corals and rocks from the beautiful sea. Women wear pearls that come directly from the shore and often are dressed in beautiful elegant clothing. The life in Coral City is peaceful and full of colors and full of luxury thanks to the jewerly and decor shops that exists there. Fishermen also benefit from the vast amount of people coming in and out of the city by selling their best catches for high prices to the visitors that come for the luxury that Coast City has to offer.
