Sorry to bother you (I tried finding if you'd answered this before, but I didn't find anyone else having the same issue, due in part to having no idea how to word it) -- but I have a version of this code that I'm using from this html code. This here is the snippet from their code, and this here is my edit that I'm trying to use. I left everything as intact as possible, just edited to fit the theme I'm using.
While the music plays when you click the play button on my version, the play button does not switch to a pause button and the little countdown does not begin. This problem doesn't appear in the original code, so, using the original version, I've been able to verify it's not a problem with my .mp3 files. I've obviously done something wrong, but for the life of me I can't figure out what. (I'm VERY new to html, and the code I borrowed this from is a lot messier than I'm used to. For instance, there are seven end dividers at the end of it, which, as far as I can tell, relate to some stylization further up. They just put it in the music player section??)
If you have the time, I was hoping you could take a look at this and see if anything jumped out at you? I'm worried it's a problem further back in the theme I'm using for the character, but I figured there was no harm in asking. The music works, it plays, it just doesn't look right -- and I can tell I've done something wrong, I just have no idea how to start figuring out what it is.
Hiya ! So, when I check your code the button does change and I can't see anything odd visually.... so I'm unsure ? what browser are you using ? the player code itself doesn't seem to have any issues so yeah it gotta be something with the theme or your browser/device
could you send me the page in which it glitch ? cause as an isolated code it seems fine
