Casual witchcraft hobby. My religious beliefs are a mis-mash- so I just call myself spiritual. I have some Christian ideals/beliefs like the belief in a God and what not, but I also believe in the Universe, Energies of the Earth, Powers of the Elements, Reincarnation, and the Strong Belief in Spirits and Ghosts reinforced by life experience. But I absolutely love learning about what others believe in and why- it's probably why my belief system is so wide open and all over the place. I have a couple of Pagan friends, and A couple of Wiccan coworkers I love to chat with, One of them I consider a friend, and we plan on joining together as partners in a business venture. She's starting an Online Apothecary to start out, and we eventually want to come together as business partners In a Coffee Shop I want to start- She's interested in being my baker
of course :3 The world is wide open with so many ideas- why close yourself off to only one idea if another resonates equally with you? I've been too close to ghosts and spirits not to believe in them. I lived in a haunted house when I was too young to remember (but my mom told me all the stories, She didn't believe in ghosts until we lived in that house) I have spiritual visits with deceased pets in my dreams, A visit with a Spiritual Medium revealed that my 19 year old deceased cat attached his spirit to mine (He said it was very rare to see Deceased pets hang around his clients, but not unheard of) I had a chat with my grandmother a few weeks after she passed in my dreams, and she told me how she wished she were in her right mind to say a proper goodbye to us, that she wasn't upset with anyone how the last four years went (she had dementia). And my mom has a white ghost cat in her house that hangs out in the front room, and only the front room. It's an older house she bought about ten years ago. It got funnier when mom got a white cat. I was doing some cleaning for my mom, and saw thew ghost cat sprint from one end of the room to the other, and I walked into my mom's office and asked "is Tucker with you?" mom was like "yeah, he's been sleeping in his bed for the past hour" I just nodded and walked away saying "Saw your ghost cat then" she laughed
Yeah, I totally get that. There's several things I find iffy about Christians in general. Mostly the hypocrisy. I don't like the thought of God having conditional love- so I choose not to believe it- that only the truly evil of the world are damned- and not folks just living life and not hurting anyone... because that kind of thinking is effed. and if that truely is what God is, then I want no part in it. So I chose to believe in a God that truely loves all, and none of this picky-choosey crap.
