Iām impressed she actually replied tho, and tbh it wasnāt that long?? like it could be longer imo idk. and Iām glad she took the art down,, hh. honestly I wish there was an art site as kid friendly as Scratch so that younger kiddos could get on it with censors / filterbot so itās appropriate and stuff but also like, has a good team of moderators and stuff that reviews it.
Ā I used to be kinda big on the app LEGO Life because of the moderators and stuff (+ like Iāve been a big LEGO fan so I was kinda interested in checking it out) but there was so many limitations, like you canāt comment on posts, although the community adapted to it with āchatsā because you can comment on LEGO-made posts. and then like, people do steal art but itās nice and easy to report, however some people abuse the function because you can report whatever without a reason, yāknow? I donāt post there much anymore, I havenāt been back in ages and apparently they added a new security check so Iām not interested pff. And every post or comment has to go through mods and as you can imagine mine get rejected most of the time lol, mostly for saying lmao on accident
All of that is to say I guess Scratch could be better, but also worse, oops sorry for an essay as well pfft. Hopefully I can get DA one day because it seems safer for my art but also not very moderated, Iām very conscious about internet stuff because of smth that happened to my family because of itĀ :ā)

DA is a site I've loved for years, until they launched eclipse. it's honestly so bad and a lot of ppl kinda low-key left but!! there are a lot of ppl still there and if you're ok with the layout, I'd say it's definitely a good site! there is a bad side you have to watch out for, but if you stay on the art side, you'll be fine. it seems kinda bad but like ,, it's a lot better than sites like twitter/facebook/etc, yknow? i recently got an insta and it's honestly so confusing and weird to me I don't rlly like it :'0 plus I've been getting more f4f requests than I do on scratch lmAO it's awkward when an 18 year old asks for me to follow them back š³Ā
but tbh I donāt mind Eclipse so oop. and yeah insta is weird, I donāt have it (again, what I mentioned) but uhh yeah. idk. Iām not on much social media sites because tbh I like chilling in my little corner haha.
