For the scene in mind, I was thinking it would be at a night time setting. Kit would be sitting down next to a campfire cooking a piece of meat ( Can be any sort of animal ) while Pori is resting on top of Kit's lap. The land itself is very dry and desolate. The far back, which is optional, can either be destroyed buildings or dried up trees nwn
