Omg, you should totally get one! I reccommend Great American Cookies of course. The cookie cake in my gallery cost $45 and lasted a few days, but they do have a 5x7" cookie cake that's like a personal size for just $15. But honestly, baking cookies and putting icing on them is a fun activity. It's seriously one of my favorite desserts, I hope you can eat something sweet soon :3
