just a little FYI: Discord changed how their links work, so links off-site expire after a set time. Hosting images through Discord is no longer really an option now for the most part
also, can i suggest File Garden to your hosting websites tab? I've used it since November last year and haven't had any issues with it
I have no idea what is File Garden thought ? is the processs to grab the mp3 link complex ? If you can explain it I'll sure add it with credit to you !
idk why i expected anything other than a bandaid fix from discord, but that's good to know! I'll have to check my own linked images until i can properly switch them over
File Garden is really simple. just upload whatever file, and it has a "copy url" off to the side of whatever file you select. you can upload other types of files too, but i mostly just use it for audio

about discord links 'band-aid fix' , tbf them adding the expirable giberish at the end of the links is indeed intended to stop ppl from hosting files there, I'm surprised it's so easy to by-pass if anything. hopefully they'll leave it at that and anyone with more than 3 brains cells will still be able to use discord to host stuff lerl

thanks you for the warning ! I'm aware of that actually, however :
if you remove the 'expirable' part of the link as explained on the tutorial, it seems to work fine so far.
I do am a bit worried it might not be viable in the futur but, will have to see.
