But at the gist of it, I believe the original idea for her was to be some kind of discarded/failed experiment? At least my idea was for her to originally be actually born and given life within some kind of lab, then later on be discarded as she didn't measure up to expectations (at the ripe age of somewhere between 6-8), so she was merely dumped off at some kind of orphanage instead of killed??
