Hi! I was only made aware of the word being used in such a way yesterday and had already adjusted the characters name.  It had previously been ‘Coon’ primarily, with ‘Raccoon’ being only used by strangers.

In this updated format its much easier to make the comparison of it just being a shortened term for ‘Raccoon’ rather than something malicious. Its only meant to be an affectionate country reminiscent nickname!
