And oh that's a more complex question than usual!! I loved so many songs this year but I was 100% in on the Netherlands, even Ralston got involved (1, 2)... and then their artist got disqualified the day of the final! I even downloaded twitter to keep up with the situation I was so invested (article that talks about some of it) and that's not even half the controversy and general bad decision making this year lmao
So then I was rooting for Croatia (they've never won it and this year's song was incredible!) but they came second to Switzerland, which I didn't mind because that song is also a banger and now the artist Nemo is the first non-binary person to win the contest :) But Ireland and Finland's incredible performances were close favourites too it was such a strong year I can't get over how good it was despite all the controversy
