Haha yeah. I started playing it when it was newly released but stopped for a while because it was eating up so much time. I'm back to playing again though. Design-wise, my favorites are Ungaikyo and Shiranui. Ootengu also has a special place for me since he's my first SSR (and my first G6). My only fanarts of Onmyoji feature him too haha.
I share with you that love for your first SSR. I can tell you that I don't play Onmyoji, the reason I know the game is because my sister plays it. But I share the same love as if the children were my own.
Tama was my sister's first SSR and also my sister's G6, I love him very much! He's a great kid TTvTT
Shiranui is too beautiful, but I'm inclined to Kinnara, as I told you I don't play the game so I don't know if it's useful or good, I just think it's adorable! *q*
I understand you, all games are time consuming.

Tama papa is indeed great. His story was pretty tragic too. Although most of the back stories of the shikigami in Onmyoji are pretty tragic tbh --- which kinda makes you sympathize with them even more.
When I wasn't playing Onmyoji, I felt that I was seeing Shira everywhere haha. I really love her unevolved design with the humongous fans. I don't think I've seen anything similar before. Kinnara is really lovely too though.
If you don't mind me asking, may I know why you don't play the game? I'm curious since it's probably the first time I've ever seen someone use an icon of a character in the game. I really thought you were a player.
And I'm not actually sure if I uploaded that smol Ootengu fanart on DeviantArt. I think I did on Tumblr though.
Tama is a very lonely and shy person and I really agree with you on his story y-y. As you mention the stories of the shikigamis are quite sad and there are many shikis who are happy.
My sister loves Shiranui too! She is beautiful TT//v///TT I think the design she has is quite particular, it reminds me of Sailor moon - sorry, I can't think of another girl XD -
I am really addicted to my work and drawing, I get too stressed if I don't do it or if I am not writing, so playing would absorb a lot of my time for these activities, since I suffer from chronic stress and many times I don't feel like doing anything, it is quite difficult for me to manage the stress of my commissions as well as my own illness, that is why I only watch my sister play.
I've grown quite fond of the characters and the community seems to be quite friendly, I'm happy to meet more people who like the game! :'-D
Due to my enormous shyness it is difficult for me to have a friendship or even start one, so I was very happy to receive your comment qvq
Don't worry, since I don't have Tumblr I've seen the little Ootengu from outside, you've got a great look!
