That's cool! The city I grew up in was small so there were like no cons that I knew of x_x plus I've seen con prices and yeah, they are so expensive! Especially if there's an Artist Alley too, so you end up buying a lot of merch while you're there orz
I grew up in the suburbs and I had to drive everywhere too, so I relate u_u not fun lol, I'd much prefer things to be in walking distance. That's exciting though! Happy early birthday in case I forget. :D Are you looking forward to being able to drive? lol

Definitely!! It was my first con so I didn't bring that much money with me... woops. I bought like 3 prints for like $3? I wish I could find them :(
I live in the country though so it was a pretty far drive.
