I've been working on a lot of my owed work, and in the midst of working on all of my owed work for the past month, I've run into yet another roadblock that's hindering progress. I value transparency with people who receive work from me immensely, and as such, I'm not leaving anybody I owe work for anything in the dark about this.
While working on all of my owed art queue, my art tablet just stopped working altogether. I thought it was the cord causing problems like last time, but it was not. No, I just found out Windows straight-up does not support my tablet's drivers anymore, rendering the tablet itself completely obsolete. This means until I'm able to purchase a new tablet to continue art production, I can't work on ANYTHING, old, new or otherwise.
So in regards to what I owed for you, what would you prefer to be done? The likelihood of getting a new one within another month is not likely.
Would you be willing to wait a little longer to get what was promised or would you like art within the timeframe? I'd be willing to compensate with traditional art valued equal to what I offered. I don't color my pencil drawings and tend to leave them black and white, but I can line it with microns or try to find any supplies I have on hand for coloring?
I'm sorry this happened to you! that sounds very frustrating. I appreciate that you let me know. I don't mind waiting a month or more, since you let me know about the problem. (And I don't need any extra art for compensation) If you would feel better not having this pending trade on your to-do list, without knowing exactly when you're getting a new tablet, it's definitely okay to cancel the trades for the characters. You can always come back later and re-claim them again if they are still available. So I am up for either, whichever you feel more comfortable doing.
If you're totally okay with waiting, then I'd love to possibly do so. At the very least until then, I can always provide some sketches on paper for when I have the ability to work on the finals. As it stands right now, I'm also gonna be experimenting with doing art on a mouse again temporarily.
Sweet, I can do that!
What can I draw for you?
