i just looks at stories, aesthetics, anything that'd give me the inspiration to form a character

-look at blogs that are dedicated to oc questions or something (here's one for example)

-i look up lists of things and apply each detail to an oc (like a list of jobs or illnesses)

-use cliche tropes (yandere, fairy tales) and make a character about them, but try to not to make them as cliche

-add details about me (or friends) to the oc

if all else fails, pull shit outta my ass
