Yeah, about half of my friends are on Discord too, but I just can't get used to the interface and the bots are so complicated, I don't use Discord unless I absolutely have to....that and I'm a hopeless sticker addict, so Telegram is perfect for me. ^^;
Sure though! I tend to pop off and on during the day cause the toddler keeps me busy, but if you don't my messages being super delayed and/or random, I'd love to chat on Telegram. ^w^
don't worry, i was confused too when i first used discord years ago :3 i'm use to it now! the best thing to do is to give things a chance ^w^
and yeahh i agree, some bots are super hard to use.. but some are pretty easy! the best thing to do is if you find a new bot that interests you, test it out on a test server :3 i really like the pluralkit bot, it makes it so you can chat as your ocs! :D perfect for rping!
also i hear discord actually has a sticker bot! i haven't tested it yet but i recommend it if you like stickers :3 i need to start making and using stickers sometime! currently on discord i'm just using custom emojis, which to use outside a server you would need nitro. i'd say the mee6 bot is probably one of the easiest discord bots and are perfect for starters :3

My one friend who prefers Discord (but keeps Telegram around just for me because he's a sweet bean ^.^), told me about the custom emotes thing, but the needing to pay for it killed it for me. And since furries are still largely bonkers for custom telegram stickers of their OCs there's a huge market on Telegram for me still. Might explore and look for that sticker bot though if that's a thing that can give me the same effect I know my friend would be happy to have me using Discord more.

no prob! yeah custom emojis are only available for servers until you get discord nitro where you can use em all over discord :3 i decided to get discord nitro since i'm kinda becoming rich 'n' all ^w^ but yea i should totally get into using stickers and using the sticker bot :o even if i can't use stickers, i guess uploading an image also works too lol XD but i really hope discord stickers becomes an official thing for discord! especially for us furries ^-^
alrighty! though one thing that worries me about telegram is that you have to use your phone number to join and i'm worried that it might get revealed or anything.. :< but i'll still add ya
Oh yeah, I forgot that's a thing. I haven't had any problems with it so far, I keep that set to private and haven't been bothered, and I have a bit of an infamous reputation at this point so I wouldn't be too concerned. ^^;
aw man, you too? i just don't get why so many people are out to get us all the time.. D: i noticed a few attacks happened to you in the past, i'm hoping you're okay.. :c me? i just get targeted by bullies all the time for the stupidest things.
like right now one's gossiping/lying about me while bullying and harassing me all because they got mad over me saying "i see" and claimed i was the angry one when uh.. maybe they should check themselves in the mirror. D: cos i say "i see" all the time as a way of saying "i agree/understand".
that's also the same person who kept nagging me to take down the fanart of my fursona which i already did. but are still having their tantrums about it, and lying that i'm "some thief" when they actually threatened to steal my characters. sheesh!
