The 'gloom' tightens innocently around the shift, deepening as it strokes his arms, then pulls back to coalesc into a taller form, one long ear flicking as color filtered into the blue skinned elf, as if shaking off the monotone, "Looking too hard, Làngjūn?" He purred, chuckling, then gave a playful bow, "Vhat, then, can this humble soldier do for yiss?"
The mage's head tilted at the coalescing shadows and gave his partner a half smirk, petting the gloom in return as he moved closer at the invitation. "You seem to have become distracted in here," he offered, mildly, then holds up a book labeled 'Roleplaying for Dummies.' "Found this hidden in the back of your library. I admit, there's a few stories in here I wouldn't mind sharing?" The mage's smirk widened as a snake-looking creature coiled along his arm. "Might have a few surprises along the way."
