Why are there so many gay males in Axel ocs.

i mean this is suppose to be a shoungen manga not a yaoi

anyways it seems like ignis is gay, as he cares way way way too much about males for just a friendly man. btw I'm not homophobic, Ignis is still my favorite axel oc and I think he is cool and all, but why does he have to be so gay.
