omg i also went around and bragged about being able to spell pterodactyl @ past me girl CHILL ur not that cool lol. one of my parents’ favorite stories to tell is that i once corrected one of my teachers cause she messsd up a dinosaur name and she was apparently really impressed

I dont have anymore dino related stories sadly :( but on the somewhat related topic of school in general, I think the best thing our class has ever done is get in trouble for talking too much abt being gay at our conservative school so our vice principal came and talked to us about it with all our core class teachers there.
also one time my favorite teacher got seriously mad at us for the first time ever bc he didnt approve of our anime and manga stuff cause he saw someone with a manga including a “scantily clad lady“ i almost lost it laughing as he was lecturing us

ah thats cool!! at least some people are decent and not transphobic lol sucks not everyone can be that way tho x-x the boys in my class are all still using gay as an insult like “if you fail this ur gay“ and the girls are like “yeah i literally am“ its fun lmao- i think the lecture spurred the boys on tho to be even weirder abt it smh.
my mom has jokingly said that our class’s “issue“ is “lesbianism“ and suggested that when i graduate i should yell “lesbians out!“ which is now so tempting to me jsnsjsn
