self diagnosis is when you look at your symptoms and then claim you have a certain illness. you can suspect that you have said illness, but you cannot and should not claim to have it otherwise. it can be harmful to both you and to the stigma if you are wrong. it's also really inconsiderate if you're not sure! when you suspect you might have something going on, you take it to a psychiatrist or other doctor and get a proper examination.
