The high angel Luciel happened to her eye. When she was much younger, and still quite naive, she picked a fight with one of the high angels, and he let her go with a warning shot. Her eye is now basically good-aligned, and every time she gets angry it hurts her. It kind of backfired, because the pain increases the angrier she gets, and it sends her into a frenzied rage.
