Oh yeah for sure! By observational drawing, I just mean using photo references, like drawing from real photographs of animals or hands or people! That way, you’re learning from the source (nature). I recommend buying a cheap sketchbook for this, knowing you’ll fill it with practise stuff. You caaaaaan practise digitally, but then you might rely on warp / liquify tools too much. Drawing traditionally will really train your hand better!
Oh sure haha, send me a DM, I’m happy to to help out however I can! <3 (Also I live in China, so my timezone is WHACK)
Thank! .w. ah i see! Rip i don't have a sketchbook but i do have a thick book that doesn't have lines on them (basically just a blank page but with some cute backgrounds on it), maybe that would do then? .w.
I only do fullbody artworks/ ref artworks/ really big artworks/ small gifs/ colouring on digital, since i find it easier to do. But normally when i just wanna sketch some art (and not add any colour on it) i usually do it on a random piece of paper! And use my hand as a ref lol, or a random picture that i can take references on, depending on what i do .w.
Sure!! Ill send you a DM if i have any more questions to ask <3 As a person who live in Asia and close to China, i think our timezones are the exact same lol, right now as i type this it was 9:17am in my country byjdcefd
