[PREORDERS] BITE!: an LGBT+ furry fanzine!

We made a zine! 

BITE! is a zine dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ artists of the furry fandom! 
Zine, short for fanzine, is a small press (usually less than 1000 copies, oftentimes less than 100)  “mini magazine” of original writing, art, photography, or whatever! They have been around since the early 20th century, often circulated around local underground spaces. They have a long history within many genres; and I like this article if you are interested in learning about some popular zines over time! Zines have been prominent in the furry fandom since it began in the 1980s, and though I’m not old enough to remember the pre-internet time, I know that zines were the prominent way for furry artists to share their work. As a bit of a nerd when it comes to this subculture, it’s been really interesting to me to see the way the fandom has changed over time (even if I wasn’t alive to witness the start), and I’m hoping that BITE! will be an homage to both furry culture of the pre-internet age and the new generation of artists and furries!

Containing more than 50 pages from 23 different artists, including a six page comic about the queer origins of the furry fandom, BITE! is a great read for anyone interested in the furry fandom!

• Where will the money go? All profit will go to the Transgender Law Center. 
• Why the Transgender Law Center? I’m sure if you clicked on this thread you don’t need me to explain why it sucks to be a queer or trans person in the world (specifically the USA) right now. The Transgender Law Center works toward changing laws and policy to make living safer for us, especially our Black and Brown sisters, who are at the highest risk of harm by these laws.
• Does this zine contain mature content? No, this zine is pg13.
• When will the preorders close? June 15 will be the last day you can preorder a print copy. 
• Can I just buy a PDF copy? Yes! PDF and EPUB copies are available on a sliding scale/pay-what-you-can starting at 3$! 
• What are the dimensions of the print copy? The print copy is full color 8.5”x5.5”, printed on 80 lb paper with a 100lb gloss cover. 
• When will the copies be sent? Upon purchase, you will receive a email with the pdf/epub. Your paper copy will be sent by July 10!
