2021 Finding Friends Master Thread

most of my friends stopped being into ocs and art so why not post here, checking out every single of those lf friends threads is a mess ;;

clockwork/atempause, she/her, 23. european so timezones might make things funky. ocs live in my head rent free nonstop, i don't rp with them, just create them and their world.. and writing it all very slowly lol and shitpost with them. i like playing games but i'm also terrible at them, souls series, morrowind, stardew valley, hotline miami, ruiner and okami are my favorites. or i rewatch akira and bojack horseman for the 50th time

Oop, this thread seems like a pretty good idea to do rather than all these seperate threads, so imma drop some stuff abt me here too :'D

My name is Jay, he/they, 14, European but I'm often up at varying times of the late night/early morning anyway. I like LoZ, Mha, Danganronpa, Moomins, YGO, Anime in general, Musicals (especially Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chill, bare: A Pop Opera, and Dracula: The Musical), Writing/Rping, Reading, Drawing, Horror (ESPECIALLY psychological horror, love it when they get inside your head), and a bunch of videogames like sdv, The Amnesia Series, Dark Deception and more (mostly horror titles but others too). 

I also REALLY love talking abt my ocs and hearing people talk about theirs too! :D Another thing i enjoy that ties into that is I love to make canon ships (platonic or otherwise, and yes, "otherwise" does indeed include enemies and other negative relationships, as well as just romantic) between me and my friend's ocs! (obviously only if they want to as well though) I just think it's a neat thing to have and it's extra fun to talk about with our ocs so if you like doing that and wanna know if I'm open to it here's your answer :) (Also please note this isn't a required thing I just think it's neat to occasionally do sometimes with ppl lol)

I prefer talking to people within the sort of 13-17 age range who have similar interests just for the sake of easier relatability to each other and to avoid any uncomfortable situations, but if you're just a little bit outside that range or don't share too many interests I wouldn't mind chatting still and making minor exceptions.

I also have ADHD and Autism, please don't baby me for it but please understand I may easily get distracted and stuff so sorry if i take a while to respond sometimes. (also the ADHD can make me a little bit chaotic/hyperactive without me realizing every now and then but if you just ask me to bring it down a notch then I will.)

+ art, drawing ocs, and using lots of different colors! my favorite types of ocs are fantasy designs

+ I enjoy video games A LOT. my favorite kinds of games are RPGs, Nintendo games, and relaxing games like Minecraft and Stardew Valley. My favorite game of all time is Chrono Trigger and the one I'm currently playing is Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

+ music! I like a wide variety of alternative rock, indie, electronic, lo-fi, vaporwave, etc. my favorite bands include Anima!, Portugal. The Man, Mother Mother, purity ring, and AWOLNATION. I'm always looking for new music recommendations!

+ nature! ecology is my major so of course I love animals and hiking. I also have a folder filled with ecology memes if anyone's interested in that :)

I'm pretty lacking in the friends department these days so I might as well give this is shot. My name is Gina, or Gummy if you want to use my screen name. I'm 24 (still haven't updated my profile.) I'd perfer to talk to people around my age, so 20 at the least.

- I love writing! My favorite genre being fantasy. Making characters is one of my favorite things to do and I've been doing it for a very long time now. I'd like to think I'm pretty painstaking when it comes to developing ocs.

- On a similar note, I enjoy rping even if I haven't done it in earnest in over a year. If you'd like to rp, don't hesitate to ask!

-Art is a pretty new hobby for me. I've been actively teaching myself how to draw for about 6 months now. Talking about art is also something I find fun and I always like looking at other people's art!

- Music is something pretty important to me. I listen to a ton of music and I'd like to think I have a pretty eclectic taste. My favorite genres are alt rock, operatic metal, and dream pop. But really I'll listen to pretty much everything and have a pretty wide interest. My favorite band has been Silversun Pickups forever now.

- One of my favorite things to do is to watch movies, both good ones and funny bad ones (After Last Season will forever be the worst.). I'll watch basically anything that isn't a romcom, but I love psychological thrillers and anything cerebral. My favorite movies are Donnie Darko, and Inception.

- Psychology is my major. So by obligation I have to say I like it.

i thought i'd drop a little introduction here since I don't have many friends who care about art and characters and video games, (aka all of my interests)
