this is really cool, reminds me of of olden mmos out there. what are the other animals planned? I'd love to see some non mammal stuff, but I understand it may not be the scope of your project

Reach of the River is an upcoming free-to-play multiplayer animal role-playing and survival game being developed by Blackminnow Games Ltd. Game development in-engine only began in 2020, however RotR has been my passion project for four years and counting. Reach of the River is in an early alpha stage and not a finished product; Markings are sparse, the world is uninteresting, performance is questionable at best, and things will break.
Countless features are either not implemented, mere prototypes, or are rife with bugs.
The game has poor performance and due to our cheap hosting provider, suffers from latency issues and the game world is not prepared to handle hundreds of players. That being said, every penny you decide to give us helps us fix these issues.

The Early Bird tier will eventually be retired once Reach of the River enters beta or otherwise becomes available to the public. While the Supporter Bundle will remain available to anyone for any donation of any amount (including in-game purchases), the Early Bird Bundle will retire along with its tier and will not become available again.
By subscribing to any of our membership tiers, are not paying to help test the game -- rather, we feel it only fair to give you early access to the very game who's development you decided to support.

Frogcroaks Reptiles are pretty far out of the scope of Reach of the River, but all doors are open whereas we're so early in development ;) Never know!
I would personally die for a 3D reptile / amphibian game that isn't dinosaurs though <3 But I don't think RotR will be the one to do those little critters justice

WyrmWrought lol thats fair! will still be interested, and for something more in scope, i`d love "weirdo" mammals/stuff you rarely see, since I think theyd be easier to implement but feel unique. whatever you do though, i'll be looking forward to it

Frogcroaks, I totally get what you mean, I love the little guys. There're a lot of less typical mammals I've been considering, but alas for the sake of the game we gotta get those popular ones in first, y'know? A big one on my list to investigate is Suids like wild boars. I love my piggies.
