I've got a few bad ones. I've got good ones too but it's nothing special worth sharing since it's the usual commission process.

- First one, on a hell place called amino. I was 14, part of an adopt amino and someone was looking for an artist to draw a refsheet of their fursona in a style similar to a furry's ref who's name I forgot.  I offered to do it, they agreed and we moved on to DMs. Their character only had a description, so I started doodling the design roughly first to get the character right. It was accepted so I started doing a clear ref sheet, finished the front facing fullbody which they liked. However, they asked for some close up on the ref and a back pose that was... Strange at first. I can't go into detail, but basically they disguised a NSFW commission into a SFW one and kept forcing me to draw questionable stuff (my age was public, I already said I was a minor and not comfortable with their requests) they said I should not be afraid and they could send me NSFW refs. I blocked them. Never again.

The 2 next ones are not commissions but trades. Both on amino, LPSA specifically

- Someone was taking offers on a beautiful vintage rose protogen, I offered 2k coins and a scene artwork. They accepted and we moved to dms. Sent the ac, they sent me the character they wanted drawn and the commission details. A few days later, I finish the piece and send it to them. They thank me, send le the character image... Watermarked. And blocked me. I noticed their username was not matching the one on the watermark (on LPSA they used a special font my phone couldn't read, but on my tablet I could). Did some digging, found the OG artist, DMed them about the situation and the person got banned.   But it doesn't quite end here. Later, I noticed that the OC I drew was not even theirs. Someone commissioned them to draw their oc, they gave me the ref to do the work and passed MY drawing as their own. Disgusting.

Last one was also a trade, same place but way later. I see an oc I like for offers in a purge post, seller and me agreed to do a scene trade for it (I'm never doing scenes again man), they sent me proof the character was owned by them. I get to work, send them the sketch the next day. They answered me in the evening and was so excited about the character I pulled an all nighter to finish the drawing. I send it to them in the morning only for them to reply they "forgot to put it on hold, forgot they accepted my offer and already sold the character"??' IN 48H ???? Not only that but they refused to offer me another character or a compensation. The cherry on top: they kept the drawing even though I said not AND HAD THE SHEER AUDACITY. TO ASK. FOR MORE FREE ART. I didn't accept but they sent me their oc with full details of what they wanted on the 2nd piece even though I never said I would work with them.

Had a client order something and then fall off the face of the earth. They sent money and dipped. Tried to contact with a wip and got no response. Hope they’re ok

Just recently started making roblox commissions, and my first client was really nice! After sending them all process, they were giving compliments, and stuff, that was making me happier. After finishing they were so happy, and said that they would definitely recommend me to friends, agghhh, I'm so lucky that my first commissioner was so nice

Have a feeling I mentioned this in another thread but will do it again since it's great lol... Once after doing a sketch commission for someone they liked it so much that they had it printed on a fabric wall scroll and even had one made for me and shipped it to me. That was the best compliment ever ahah

As for bad experiences, the worst was someone who had previously commissioned me and the first comm went great. After that he bought an in stream commission but asked for changes the entire time to the point where other viewers were getting sick of him. Sent him a whisper in chat to ask if he just wanted a refund if he didn't like that many things about the pic but he basically begged me to keep drawing and said he would stop asking for stuff. Ten minutes later he was back to asking for changes constantly. Sent him a whisper again and he admitted that he just liked making artists do whatever he wanted and making them use as much time as possible to get his moneys worth or something. Finished as quickly as possible and blocked the user after. After the block, he messaged my friend to ask to be unblocked (most likely to ask for more changes) but I refused. In retaliation he removed my credit on the two pics I drew for him which was pointless because they were uploaded on my account as well.

sadly i`ve got mental health problems and said that i won`t be able to finish arts, then gone on a break

there was 10 ppl, 5 of them left fandom already, few backed up as i didn`t got my part too, one i deleted as i`ve tried three times but i couldn`t draw that pic, but one that left....

that girl pretended that i was her friend and once i joked that i could do 70 arts for her....

then she started to harass me with these arts

i`ve thought to say "sorry i can`t" but once when i`ve wrote that i`m gone on a break `til april 4 and come at april 6....she wrote that i`ve been ignoring her and threw a fit with cursings.

i`ve blocked her after 1,5 years of that relationships (we were admins on one channel).

she knew that i don`t curse and don`t like ppl who curse.

she triggered me.

i have protected myself.

ok.

Well, the first time i opened commissions, two people commissioned me. It turned out pretty great, as the two botn patiently waited for me to finish, and then actually know my th to credit me :D

And basically trades and other stuff people pay me to do art for them all went well (hopefully it lasts lmao)

A long time ago, when I was new to art, I had just finished watching Netflix's Wendsday and I really liked the braids. I wanted to draw them for myself so I drew a character. The character was really bad looking but I was so proud that I felt guilty at the thought of keeping her. So I put her up on Amino to give away for 10 amino coins.

The first and only person to bid then gave me a toyhouse so I could send them the character via Toyhouse and even gave me an extra 500 coin tip. I think about it a lot. I wish I could talk to them sometimes but my idiot brain labeled that character with my amino profile which I since deletedand, get this,  AND I FREAKEN DELETED THE TOYHOUSE AFTER SENDING THEM THE CHARACTER BECAUSE IT LOOKED WEIRD.
