Steven Universe is a cartoon created by Rebecca Sugar, currently aired on Cartoon Network.
When originally aired it didn't have a very large fanbase, but as we delve into the later seasons it is picking up, and the fanbase is growing rapidly! So, hopefully to reach out to the other fans of Toyhou.se, this fan group was made.
So please come on in, and stay awhile!

Ahhh, hello fellow SU fans! ; v ;
I'm really big on Steven Universe, but I don't have many friends I can talk to about it because so many people think watching cartoons is somehow shameful... I think the show is very engaging and meaningful though and it's easily my favorite. I love the characters and watching them develope both personally and in their relationships, but another thing I absolutely adore about it is the setting. So much of the scenery the gems visit is flawlessly surreal, but my favorite would have to be the charming normalcy of Beach City. I have how the artists portray the beauty of life in the ocean, the sky, the plants, and the people. So lovely. <3

Yes, its just a gorgeous cartoon over all, and I hope one day, it will help break that notion that its "shameful", as its a really endearing, and interesting show. :)
Anddd welcome, Toyhou.se actually has several members who are SU fans, besides @Hane , and I.
I agree through, wholeheartedly, they have definatly crafted some beautiful worlds, from the surreal landscape of the Temple of the Moon Beetle, to the Island Steven, Lars, and Sadie get stranded on, or even the creepiness of the kindergartens.

Ohhh goodness I couldn't agree more. Also the music is wonderful! I love Rose's theme, Pearl's theme, Strong in the real way, and the extended SU intro. What about you?
Great! I can't wait to meet more fans then. It's a really fantastic series.
My favorite setting would have to be the strawberry-speckled battlefield with the giant weapons. Makes you think that they were maybe fighting with multiple fused gems, right? But also the island was gorgeous. I loved that episode.

Pshaw, people who think watching cartoons is shameful are just ignorant. Especially with the quality of some of the kid shows today? I Do think however that we older viewers have to remember that it is in the end for kids. And that we keep the community safe and welcoming for kids.
Like, I've talked with people who work in the animation field. And almost all of them lament that animation is looked down upon as either childish or completely vulger and juvenille in America. Animation is simply a medium. :D ( Sorry I'm passionate about animation, it's my major)
And to wrap back to SU. It's a very good show. The newest episode "Nightmare Hospital" was so spoopy owo/

My favorite line is definitely in Pearl's first solo; "we were amazed to find your beauty and your worth/ and we will protect your kind, and we will protect your earth... And we will protect you." I think it really demonstrates Rose's heart and how she had an eye and appreciation for the wonders of life, but also the gems in general; how they view people, how they see the world.
Also the first thing I thought when you said "Greg's songs" was "carabiner, carabiner!"
Right? So much work goes into the art, the plot, the music, the characters; and most cartoons of good quality aren't simply cheap entertainment. Animating is an art form, and I wish more people would appreciate them as such.
Yeah, it's definitely my all-time favorite. But yeah... Really big seeds! I just love how fantastic and enchanting all of the scenery is. I seriously can't get over it. I should try making some ethereal scenery sometime; it seems like it would be fun to plot and construct!

I love Spinel so much and in a few weeks when it's not as spoilery, I want to make her my icon. Ughhh I just want to give her a hug and a bag of candy and tell her it'll be all right.
The Steg fusion was.... pretty cool. Although I had to look away for most of it, since for some reason I get uncomfortable looking at hyper-masculine characters.
I loved seeing all the uncorrupted gems in the background just doing their thing. Also Sadie's green hair grew out: I'm surprised the dye lasted that long, even if it has faded. When I dyed my hair green it only lasted 6 months. Then again this is a cartoon.
Lastly, I like how the models and heights of characters have slowly become more consistent. I know this is a big thing people complain about.
Yessss!!! Ahhh I loved spinel ;o; her backstory literally made me cry...
I have Drift Away and Other Friends on loop XD Oh plus Change, I loved that fight scene between the two even though Steven was mainly blocking... Honestly I did like it n.n and :o I didnt even realize the heights XD I never really cared about that XD
