Pokémon Ultra Sun & Moon Thread!

I bought myself Ultra Sun yesterday evening since last time I went with Moon! Ended up naming my trainer after one of my OCs and since I chose Rowlet in Moon, I went with Popplio this time. I haven't gotten too far into the game yet, I've only just beaten Ilima. So far I'm really enjoying it though! I'm glad they've put more Pokemon into USUM, it gives the routes some more variation as to what you can encounter.

My team currently consists of a level 15 Popplio, a level 14 Rockruff (from the event), and a level 14 Zorua.

jdlkjhff i havent got it yet and i prob wont until christmas but IM SO HYPE FOR THIS GAME itll probably pull me out of my miitopia induced hell

I also got a ultra sun yesterday! I had preordered mine and got a Popplio figure with it! (Kinda hoped for Rowlet, but ah well.)

Since I never finished Moon due to me losing it, my plan was to recreate the team I originally had - Which was Decidueye, Lycanroc, Sylveon, Mimikyu, Bewear and Alolan Ninetales! I probably won't get the same form of Lycanroc, but oh well, I'll try to at least.

i'm still super early ahhhhHHHH but now i have a (sort of) team!!! going slow though as i wait for the poke bank and my fated oricorio >:3c

hhh i haven't gotten too far yet but is usum really this similar to sm the whole game?? i know there's different pokemon everywhere but everything seems the same except for just a few things...

I got Ultra Moon when the games came out after I was done work then just playing it when I have free time. The Mantine surfing is actually really fun alternative to just taking the standard boat they had before to go from island to island!

Also, I thought I should point out as a helpful tip, since I donno anybody else knows but might as well put it out there. For the event Rockruff to get the Dawn Lycanroc in Ultra Moon, you need to have your ds set to 5 am and not pm or get up that time but I don't think anybody wants to get up at 5 in the morning to evolve a pokemon. :'D

@tak0yama - a lot of the sequels are like that, with the exception of BW2! Think of them as director's cuts, tbh. I've heard there's a lot of difference in the latter part of USUM, closer towards the end though.

I got UM the day it was released and I'm too busy to play it, but I started it!

Lowkey I wish there was a way for us to keep that Rockruff near the start of the game. It was so precious ;n; following the player around!

Dolce SAAAAAME I spent at least 20 minutes just turning around and playing hide and seek with it and tbh it was totally worth it

Picked up Ultra Sun on Friday! Me and several friends challenged one another to do monotype runs, where you only use pokemon of one type (though dual-types are allowed-- think of them as gym leader runs). I got assigned fairy and I've been having an excellent time of it! Currently on my way to the third island. There is a lot I love ;w;

Current team is Brionne/Sylveon/Cottonee/Mime Jr./Mawile/Ribombee! I'm gonna have trouble editing my team down, haha, I really want to try out Mimikyu and Vulpix but the only 'mon I want to boot right now is the mime boy. Mmmight end up swapping out ribombee if only because I used one in Moon, but who knows for now!
