Basically a copy of The Vent Board and The Complaint Board (which doesn't exist anymore as of now), but for hype and excitement swirling around in your mind.

A game store opened up which has a bunch of rhythm games & it makes me really happy bc most arcades are just kiddie, chuckie-cheese-style places and the only one w/ DDR and ITG machines near me doesn't take care of them.
The store's arcade section's supposed open up next month so I'm gonna start grindin' and practicing more there!

My Islanders (hockey team) have been a joke for decades but they've recently gotten:
- new ownership who genuinely care about the team and fans are willing to spend
- a soon-to-be-built new arena, the first time the team has had their own arena that was actually designed for hockey
- a new, very well-respected GM (getting rid of the GM who'd been here for 12 years and accomplished very little beyond a billboard fans paid for pleading for the team to fire him)
- as of today, the current Stanley Cup-champion head coach, replacing years and years of AHL guys and friends of management
- and he'll bring his talented coaches with him
Also our boy won the Calder last night (Rookie of the Year) nearly unanimously, and we're on the verge of re-signing our franchise player for the rest of his career. The draft is tomorrow and I could not be more excited. God, October cannot come soon enough.
