Most of my characters here are from my comic Catband, a queer anarcho-punk tale of a battle of the bands, a summer of change, and the soul of a city-- and a lot of young people making bad decisions. The original comic ran online from 2007-2009, and I'm currently planning a reboot. What I'm currently doing on Toyhouse is updating and designing or redesigning characters, and writing some short stories that explore their world.

Catband is basically my life's work, and not even in a pretentious way: you'll notice that some of these characters are very old. I've had many of my characters all my life, since I was a child or even a baby, and Catband is a story that's been with me in one form or other for a long time. I took a few years off from the comic, but I could never truly stay away. Catband is the story of my heart, and in the end, I knew that this is the story that I need to tell. I'm excited to give these kids' stories the justice they deserve, and I can't wait to share it with you.
