@PiersNivans (not gonna ping) Basically one of the biggest reasons I avoid fandoms before...

Like, I won't deny that I enjoy ships but then when fandoms put their life and blood over ships, it went to the point where it's gotten quite annoying to see any official contents with any form of (either verbal or physical) interactions without everyone making it a romantic thing adjhhjadg (or when you're the outlier that never care for ships)

Discussions about "character development" in general feels underrated to me? It can depend on the fandom but man I'm the party pooper who don't like "one dimensionalized" jokes on complex characters with a great character development/writing

And to fit the topic: platonic ships are good. Liking a ship platonic doesn't mean you like them less than romantic ships, but it's always perceived as that-

Shipping is why I don't like fandoms anymore, but I heard Fairy Tail and Naruto/Boruto have shipping wars, and it's a problem to these fandoms nowadays. I left the former a while ago, because it's just... no. The latter, I've never gone there and never will.

Back on topic, I love Fire Emblem Heroes, but I don't like its fandom, because it's just too salty. :')

BNHA is overrated, not original, has a weird art style and bad animation.

Adi should not get the rights to make a 2d Berserk. He was only the producer of Castlevania, and producers don't really do anything, he wasn't a writer, director, castor, artist or animator. The script was written in 2005, Adi didn't join the team till 2015/16. People need to stop giving him credit for doing nothing "Adi made castlevania he should get to do berserk". Castlevania worked out well because of its team.  I will cut this mini rant short but I could go on more.

I'm 29 and still live with my parents and there's nothing wrong with that.

(Should probably add that I pay my parents rent, work a full time job and help out around the house. I am most definitely not a moocher)

But, to me, Fire Emblem isn't popular compared to other Nintendo IP's, even after Awakening, so I respectfully disagree with your opinion on FE. I like Fire Emblem, and the games (Even though I've so far played Awakening and Heroes) are fine the way they are, but I think IS is pushing FE14 too hard on the advertising part.

And yeah, I agree with the American Cartoons bit. It's why I haven't watch cartoons since.

To avoid going past the 2 posts per page limit, I have a few more:

- I don't hate Splatoon, but I find it to be uninteresting. I've played Splatoon 2, but I got really bored of it.

- I don't like Live Action TV shows, because most of them nowadays are just meh.

- I feel like "cute" content in social media has been overused, and as much as I'm okay with cute things, I just don't like how overused it is.

I have this opinion for a while now, so I gotta scream it out loud

Regular show is far superior than Steven Universe.

I could add more but its against the rules.

cartoons and animes these days only uses tropes as a selling point and not elaborate them into proper characters or smth without all the cliches and whatnot. they wont bother to change that as long as the thing sells. that's the thing that stopped me from watching any recent stuff.

also i really cant click with especially newer animes these days because theyre just....thirteen episodes of 1) a trainwreck with messy pacing and characters one-dimensionalized into one whole gimmick 2) a material that will somehow forces you to look into the source material to understand the plot better. (i mean medias by default ARE promotional materials but?? it feels like all those 13 episodes are just for the sake of commercials than just delivering a story in a visual/animated form.) i rather a have nicely done lengthy anime rather than 2376176372 variation of another 13-episodes harem isekai anime thats 10% adapted from the light novel's plot.

until something strongly convince me to watch anything until the end, i just never bother catching up with any shows and tend to drop them fast because i get...easily tired of things like this. also im that type that cares more for a good story rather than the characters or ships

Also to keep on topic: Eevee and it's evolutions are such an overrated Pokemon and I'm sick of seeing them everywhere. Also Digimon > Pokemon.
