How to feature a character on my profile?

I've been looking for how to do this for a while, so decided it might be better to just post a thread.
How do I feature a character on my profile? I've seen others have it, I have a premium profile, so I should be able to do it if it was a premium feature.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If I favourite my own character that is only available to authorized users, does it still show up as a "featured character" on my profile even to people who aren't authorized?
