okay so, before anything else, I'm going to say that this is not my group and that I'm just advertising it in hopes others might be interested in it because at the moment there aren't many members yet :c

The Academy of Villains is a deviantart art and RP group (more focused on Art than RP) of which most things will happen in their (currently public) discord server. The group is focused on a school where all kinds of beings attend classes to learn how to be evil in the best way. They don't necessarily need to super-powered or magical villains, but they can be if you want your character to be one of those. I'm pretty sure most kinds of creatures are allowed to be RPed in this group (except for fandom-based species), seeing as there are already a shapeshifting anthropomorphic wolf/orca hybrid, some kind of eldritch being, and a demon as staff characters (there are more characters but I'm not gonna name them all).
A deviantart account is necessary to join the group, but if you don't have a deviantart account and want to know more about the group before making one you could read their deviantart journals and/or join TAOV's discord to ask your questions, I'm pretty sure the mods and members will gladly answer them.

The group isn't active on the art/rp parts yet because they're still looking for more members to join. The deadline for student character applications is at the end of June (exact date unknown).
TheRareKitty it's its own thing, fandom-based species or fan-characters are not allowed in this group (unless you change them (or make an alternate version of them) to be no longer fandom related).

On another note, here's a reminder that student applications will close at the end of this month (June 2019) so if you want to join as a student make sure to submit your app before then!
Student applications close today (June 30th) at midnight PST! If you want to join between tomorrow and the next public opening, you should fill in this art meme with your character as well as make an application for said character. (Don't quote me on this, I'm not a staff member of the group and don't know the details of this application process)
Teacher applications will still indefinitely be open after today.
