SquidsInTheAttic if that works with you, sure, but i was planning on trying to do recolors for him if i got him anyway, so if it's easier you can keep all the extra arts and just ask cappuchi to approve a recolor before trading him over? = o basically all art will be outdated/out of use in my hands regardless, so if you got lots you like, it would work perfectly this latter method :3

I'm alright sending him over just as is if you're alright with it. I really like the art so it would be nice to be able to keep/ reuse it ; v ; It's only two pieces so I'm not too worried about having them redone to fit another character.
SquidsInTheAttic so basically all i need you to do is let me know when Cappu says it's okay to separate the designs + approve the bookling's redesign colors, and then we can do this trade! this is important to me so there's no confusion on anyone's end, including cappuchi, since this is their species ;v;
my apologies for this, but my wrist is on the fritz for the past few weeks so i have to conserve my clicks/drawing moments LOL (i tried getting into paint to point out everything and it hurt like hell, so.... if you'd like you can relay this following information to cappuchi so you don't gotta draw/diagram it either XD) but basically for this bookling i wanted to recolor everything white (hair, body, etc.) EXCEPT the 'bleeding heart' chest, his feet, the inside of his hand accents, and the outside 'bands' of dark color. if absolutely needed i can make a quick diagram, just let me know!
other than that just let me know when we're all approved by cappu for both points, and we can work out the transfers!! :3 thanks so much!
Sorry I'm confused about design separation? I was only offering to send the character as a gift along with the Venos, not to have them changed and reapproved. I'm not comfortable asking for that as I feel I'd be the middle man in something between the two of you.
If you mean about me reusing the art I haven't posted, I wouldn't be using the same design, I would be asking them to make it into a character that I already own.
[EDIT] OKAY sorry I reread what you had wrote before and I think I understand now. I wouldn't be offering the art pieces with recolours if you wanted both the bookling and the venos. If you were still up for the trade it would be for the venos and the bookling as it is now as a gift. Any recolours and approvals would have to be between you and the species owner. Sorry for my confusion!
If you wanted to trade for just the bookling I would happily have the character art I have changed to the colours you'd like and have the recolour approved as well as see about having the initial art of the character recoloured or permission to redo the colours myself.
SquidsInTheAttic ooo okay im sorry for misunderstanding too. I wasnt entirely sure what was going on with the commissioned extra art you were talking about but now that i understand, yeah! Im fine with just taking what's there in the bookling's gallery as a gift + that venos for trade, and doing the redesign later on my own (with you keeping any comms for redesign) 👌 My username for the masterlist is: beedwise
