Perhaps you fell in love with that design when you first saw it, but you still haven't found a place for it after months of searching and need to let it go. Maybe you designed something years ago that really isn't as great for you as you thought it was. Or maybe you just really need to clean out some space in your folders! No matter what the case, you want that character moved out to someone who can love them more. That's where this thread might come in handy!

Recently my friends and I have been looking to reboot an old pirate story we shared, Sail the Seven Seas. Quite honestly, we haven't touched this story in a few years but some motivations have given us some will to restart! This time a few others are going to join as well, and I've been looking to rebuild my cast. I think I'd make this guy a regular sailor, an unfortunate fella to get his fishing boat overtaken by a pirate crew. Instead of just submitting to guarantee safety, he requests to join the crew instead. Maverick has a keen sense of adventure and a gruff personality. Pretty cliche, I know LOL but I'll work on it! thanks for considering

I'd be using him as a Pokemon trainer oc who specializes in water types. He'd have a poplio as his partner along with a Dragonair, and a Surskit on his team.
He would be very outspoken about what he believes in and his own opinions. He'd have a pretty brash way of speaking and generally be pretty unsociable. This would also transfer over to his relationships with his Pokemon, as he still retains his brash way of speaking and rather harsh attitude around and towards his Pokemon. However he would also always ensure his Pokemon were well taken care of and they would accept him and trust him despite his flaws because they'd come to realize that he truly did care, he just wasn't very good at showing it.
His partner poplio would be female and a very sweet little Pokemon. She'd be a bit of a prankster and one of the few who are able to make Maverick laugh. His Dragonair would be a lot more reserved and not typically interact with him all that much. His Surskit would be a timid young Pokemon who's nerves often got the better of them.
