Theme Songs for Characters

Hello!

I thought this up a bit ago and decided I might as well give it a try. I know there's a lot of users that like to add theme songs to their character's profiles (I'm one of them lol) but a lot of people struggle with finding that perfect song for them. I know people who have taken years to find a song that fits their character. There's so many songs out there, and sometimes we just miss the perfect ones.

So I thought, what if I create a forum where people can toss their characters out and people can provide songs they know of that might fit? I feel that, getting other people to toss songs at you widens your scope and helps you find that perfect song that you otherwise might not have found!

There's a few things I want to ask before we start. one, please keep this mature, no inappropriate summaries or sensitive topics. If you have a character that needs a song about those sensitive topics, please spoiler it and put a warning.

Secondly, no spamming characters. Please wait for a couple people before posting again. Let's give everyone a chance to get help!

Third, if you have found a song for your character, please edit your comment to say so!

And lastly, to those recommending songs, it's not a rule but I do recommend lyric videos as those make it easier for people to see if it'll work for their characters.

Quick Summary of Character: Kinei is a stoic guy who is very loyal to his king, even though he knows his king is a bad guy with ill intentions. He has high loyalty to his country, and might seem evil himself because of the orders he follows, but to those innocent he will try his best to help them, and do his best to make up for the evil deeds he commits.

Looking for songs about: Loyalty, people not seeing his good side, struggling with doing what's right, having someone evil over you

Most of my characters I've already found songs for, though a lot of them don't fit perfectly. This is part of a group of mine I need to find new songs for.

Quick Summary of Character: Madra is a giant teddy bear. He gives off samurai vibes and even has the personality of one, and is very loyal to friends and family. He's a giant softy and enjoys children, though he's very strong and dangerous when fighting and won't hesitate to go into battle to protect someone. He prefers not to fight though, and if a situation can be solved amicably he'd rather do that, however sometimes this ends up getting him in a bad spot in the end which he always feels bad about and ends up going off to correct the issue himself since it was his own fault.

Looking for songs about: Serving a purpose, protecting the one you love, being unable to admit feelings, wanting to be supportive, fighting for a cause, being hopeful.

Not looking for songs about: Bloodshed and war, anything depressing.

Quick Summary of Character: Kage has an ability to do with darkness, which unfortunately has caused a side effect to make him very, very sensitive to light. He can't even work at a computer properly because it burns his eyes. He has to live in the dark and wear a cloak, and is nocturnal because of his condition. He's used to it and doesn't complain, though it is clearly something he doesn't like.

Looking for songs about: Wanting to be free from darkness, unable to be in the light, being both strong and weak, feeling inhuman, something depressing or sad.

Not looking for songs about: Depression in general, anything upbeat or happy.

Looking for songs about: Fire/Death themes + general passion. Love and crush songs are good!! Doesn't have to be about both fire and death or fire and love etc but I'd like a mix of both on his playlist. I got two songs in his bio already if you wanna listen to those to get the gist! I'm bad with words lol. Also it doesn't have to be english as long as there are english subtitles I can read :)

Not looking for songs about: Slow, sad songs. Or songs about like, self empowerment?? There's a bunch of fire songs that are more like burning down your past mistakes or whatever and eehhhh,, just not the vibe I'm looking for.

Looking for songs about: General golden child themes I guess? Graceful, mysterious songs would be nice, too. Doesn't have to even have lyrics, but if they do, I think japanese would be cool. Graceful but bitter vibes would be great, like maybe just songs about general cold feelings or striving to be better and failing. I dunno!

Quick Summary of Character: This man has a fat god complex. I only recently got him but I'm planning on him possibly being the villain for a story I'm writing. He's just incredibly powerful. He consumes pain (both emotional and physical) in order to fuel his magic. There are few redeeming factors about him currently, but in the past he was a much softer person.

Looking for songs about: Once again, this man has a fat god complex. Just shit about being powerful, songs that make you feel like an evil dictator. Songs about being feared and revered and respected. Examples of this are:

Quick Summary of Character: She's the schools drama club director and teaches illusions. I haven't decided much about her so finding some songs that could influence her character would be great. She's probably sassy and flirty, though she's awful at flirting. Probably incredibly forward (Not like, just romantically. If you said some shit behind her back she'll call you out in front of everyone. She's the "Care to tell us what's so important that you decided to talk about it while I was teaching?" teacher)

Looking for songs about: Upbeat songs, maybe about moving on from a relationship? Not like songs about moving on with someone else, but personal confidence and stuff. Examples of this are:

Quick Summary of Character: A good-hearted nature boy who wants to see the world and create art. He has a strong sense of justice and is always looking to lend a helping hand. I think songs that would suit him would be more instrumental, I like songs with violin as well. I want Misk'ya to have the vibe of being a cinnamon roll that could actually kill you but wouldn't. If that makes any sense lol. (If you know like Xie Lian and Itadori Yuji, then that's the kind of character he is I guess... Idk I just like them as main characters)

Looking for songs about: Adventure, finding oneself, slow-paced songs that give a sense of mystery perhaps... and again, mainly instrumental.

Not looking for songs about: Anything dark-themed or related; keep the songs happy and friendly.

Quick Summary of Character: Very high ego, literally is in love with himself. He wants to be better than everyone and believes he is. I based Fukagawa's personality off of Gojo from jjk, so you know. He is also "one of the chosen three" or those who will save the world, which adds to his ego even more. His vibe is a cinnamon roll that could actually kill you and would.

Looking for songs about: Power.

Not looking for songs about: Putting down others. He cares about other people but he still wants to be better than them, but he wouldn't cheat to do that. He is honorable.
