If this does happen, I would appreciate the option to hide my characters from the search~ I use my tags purely for organization purposes, so I would prefer that they not show up. Maybe if we put them as unlisted, they would therefor not show in the searches as well as the FrontPage~ :)
It would be nice to have a way to search for a user, a character, or tags. That way we can find people easier, or find characters/ species we adore, or search for tagged items, like characters up for trade, or characters that have been tagged a specific theme. I'm sure someone has posted about this before, but I didn't find the post. Your probably working on a search system too.
Searching by tags might not be feasible since everyone can choose their own and there might be issues with the multi word tags. (I.e. would a search for "cat" also gives us OCs tagged "he has a cat"?).

Theres a site search in the work!! I think it'll work similar to other sites, whereas you'll get everything with the word included?? Or maybe by name, or by tag!! I think with tag searching it would be more like.. as a-brilliant-loser pointed out, if you search 'cat' it'll only come up with searches tagged #cat and not #he has a cat since the word cat in the second sentence isn't a tag it's in a sentence??? that's how I would've pictured it. I'm thinking a user, keyword and tag search??
user search ==> search by user?? or even random users???
keyword search ==> kinda works like dA, so if the word is written anywhere on the submission you'll get it
tag search ==> tag specific searches
and what TreeTale said about being unlisted sounds cool too!!
