Suggestion: Changing to tabs

I have some characters that were around before split tabs, but I needed in different folders, so are set as their own characters.  Not sure how well it'd work, but I feel like it'd be cool to be able to turn an already existing character into a tab, so you don't have to re-upload all the images and lose the original posted dates.
